Cigar Destruction

Sometime in 2008, you will see a new animation titled "Cigar Destruction". The character, Cigar, will be showing you just how smoking is destructive to your body by using a building.


This is an experimental type of animation for me. Sometimes it can be a lot of work trying to make things look right but fun. I create a lot of frames before I'm satisfied putting it all together. Sometimes when I use still frames and videos together, it can be a very tough challenge. This time I am thinking about just still frames.


I used a blurred effect in the poster to give it a blurred look. A transparent effect was also added with the smoke to Cigar's face.


Well, that's all I can tell you for now. I don't know how many times my mind will change before I actually make the film. I don't like to tell too much.

Nobody Believes Benny

According to West Street Journal News (cartoon news), there is a rumor going around that Little Benny stopped smoking with hypnosis, and it is said that he is controlled by it in his subconscious. It is said that is how Benny’s desire and craving for cigars was eliminated. Doctors believe that Benny entered into a deep and relaxed state of hypnosis where he is awake and aware of what is going on around him. They say that he is in control.

Little Benny is angry about the rumor. He said, “I have never been to a doctor for my smoking, and I have never stopped with hypnosis. I stopped smoking with the help of God.”

First, no one believes that Benny has seen a criminal named Cigar Keys who has no identity. Benny claims that others have seen him but are afraid to come forward. Cigar Keys is said to be a dangerous man that misleads children into crime. Doctors think that this is the way that Benny has stopped smoking. He thinks he sees a real cigar man and is now the non-smoker.

Benny is a special type of guy that can see things going on around him that most people can not see. It is a gift that he was born with, but other people seem to think that he is crazy or weird. Nobody hears him when he said that he stopped smoking with the help of God, and how he was lead by him. Benny said, “ I don’t care what nobody else has said, I know in my soul that what I said is true.”

It seems that nobody believes Benny.

Church In the Projects

I am working on a very short film titled "Church In the Projects". In this film, the Lord visits Little Benny in a vision to let him know that there are good people in the projects and that he is there.

You will see Little Benny's face, what is on his mind, and what he will see with his spiritual eyes.

Cigar

Smoking a cigar was harmful to Little Benny. It had a deadly spirit. When he gave up smoking cigars, he thought he had won a hard battle. Little Benny was addicted to smoking cigars, and it was no good for his lungs. The deadly spirit (spirit of sickness and death from Satan) was angry that Little Benny was able to overcome smoking.

There are evil spirits in this life that we can not see. There are good spirits and bad spirits.

The Bible mentions demons (Mark 5:1-12) and angels (Matthew 13:41). They are around although you may not see them. They are mentioned all through the Bible.

When Little Benny overcame his cigar smoking through the help of the Lord, the deadly spirit that was in his cigar grew angry and took on a form of a man. His name is Cigar and he is a demon and Anti-Christ misleading children. He is Little Benny's enemy.

Highway to Life

Highway To Life is a story about Little Benny giving up, feeling tired, and wanting to be with the Lord. Apostle Paul said, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21)." (23) For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:..." (2Corinthians 5:8) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

Little Benny had seeds sown and planted in his mind with all of these Bible verses. As he walked through the graveyard, the Sower was with him. The Sower is like his conscience and planting those good seeds. But, he had to let Little Benny know that it was not his time to go. Little Benny had to continue to live on this earth and get back on the highway to life. On the highway to life, he saw many people that needed his help.

The Movie

Church Hiding Place is a movie clip about Little Benny building a church hide out for children. He must save children from an evil old man name Cigar with the help of his friend Stiltwalker.

The movie logo came from this movie clip. I tried to insert the whole movie into my animation, but it only took part of it. When I played the clip, I thought that one part of the movie would be great for a logo. That's how I came up with the logo and movie poster.
